Australian Premium Solar (India) IPO: Review, Valuation & GMP

Australian Premium Solar (India) IPO - Complete Overview

APS India, also known as Australian Premium Solar (India) Limited, started in 2013. APS India is all about supporting India's plan to create its own solar products. They are working towards making India a global leader. APS India works on making and selling solar panels, focusing on being independent and innovative in the Indian solar industry. They spend a lot on research to make top-quality solar solutions for different uses.

They recently became a public company through an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Their factory in Sabarkantha, Gujarat, is big, covering 25,375 square metres, and can produce 200 Megawatts of solar panels every year.

Besides making solar panels, they also help with installation, both for solar panels and solar pumps. Up to August 31, 2023, they've helped over 10,000 customers, with more than 9,500 rooftop installations for homes and over 1,300 installations for solar pumps in agriculture.

Their main products are:

A. Solar Panels

1. Monocrystalline solar panels: These are super efficient and look uniform because of their special structure. Bus bars (Copper-coated thin strips) can be placed strategically without making them stand out too much.

2. Polycrystalline solar panels: These panels look blue or speckled due to their structure. Bus bars may need to be placed carefully to match the less uniform appearance of these cells.

B. Solar Grid Inverters

The on-grid solar inverter is a crucial part of the on-grid solar system. Its main job is to change the Direct Current (DC) from solar panels into Alternating Current (AC) that we use in our homes. Additionally, these inverters control how the electricity flows.
