Risk Factors In Such Funds

  • The Scheme would invest in a diverse portfolio of businesses that track consumption and consumption-related activities to achieve capital appreciation. Putting money into a thematic fund is predicated on the idea that the fund will look to invest in businesses related to a certain theme. This will restrict the Fund's capacity to make investments in other industries.

  • The exchange has the authority to put limitations on option exercise, as well as to restrict option exercise at particular periods under specific conditions. This could affect the portfolio's value.

  • The scheme's success will be directly impacted by the Nifty India Consumption TRI's performance. Therefore, any modification in composition due to weighting or stock selection will affect the scheme.

  • Interest rate or price risk is a concern for REITs and InvITs. Existing security prices often decrease in response to rising interest rates and rise in response to falling interest rates. The current coupon, the number of days to maturity, and the change in the level of interest rates all influence how much prices fall or rise.
