Kiwi, a credit card platform, has launched its novel "Credit on UPI" service across the country. Looking to allow clients to incorporate credit options into their UPI transactions, Kiwi launched Kiwi Credit Card is probably the first company to refer to National Payments Corporation of India certification. 

They intend to develop virtual cards with partner banks under the Rupay name for their mobile application.

With this ground-breaking opening, the start-up plans to build one of India's largest direct-to-consumer models for digital lending. Their platform is flexible and empowering, allowing customers to make payments with either their deposited funds or with accessible lines of credit, transferring funds securely and seamlessly via a mobile device. 

Kiwi thus hopes to act as a whole new way for hundreds of millions of Indians to manage their finance by getting personalized and immediate access to credit within the normal flow of their digital money transactions.

Kiwi Credit Card Benefits

• Minimum 2% Real cashback on all UPI spend.

• Minimum 0.5% Real cashback on all online spend.

• If your spending in a year is more than Rs.50,000 across categories, your cashback on the entire Rs.50k will increase to 3% (both online and UPI spend). Total Rs.1500 Cashback on Rs.50k spend in a year.

• You get 1 free domestic lounge access voucher.

• You also receive one voucher for free entrance to the domestic lounge. Your cashback will rise to 4% on the full Rs.1 lac if you spend more than Rs.1 lac in a year across all categories (including online and UPI spending).

• You get a total of 2 free domestic lounge access vouchers.

• Your payback on the full Rs.1.5 lac will rise to 5% if your annual expenditure exceeds Rs.1,50,000 across all categories (including online and UPI spending). On Rs.1.5 lac spent in a year, there was a total payback of Rs.7,500.
